Phil earned his masters degree in tax from Brigham Young University and has had more than 25 years experience in personal and small business tax preparation, planning, and consultation. He has co-written for BNA and served as the Chairman for the California Society of CPAs S Corporation Conference. In response to repeated requests from clients, he co-founded a fee-only investment advisory firm in 2003 and later, in 2006, created Green Wealth Management in Salem, Oregon advising high net worth individuals and retirement plans.
Phil and his wife of 27 years, Vonja, are the proud parents of eight children, have four grandchildren, and take an active part in their church and community. When he’s not at the office, Phil can often be found at the pool or singing baritone in choral groups around the state.

Alvin graduated from Brigham Young University with his masters degree in tax in 2000. While in college and prior to joining Phil’s tax practice in 2001, he worked for two “Big 4″ firms: Deloitte & Touche and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Alvin is an avid Scouter and outdoorsman, and is actively involved in leadership training programs for young men.

Steven is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) with expertise in tax, investments, and insurance. Prior to joining our firm, Steven was an analyst for the strategy & operations consulting firm Oliver Wyman in their Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. Prior to his work at Oliver Wyman, Steven spent a summer working for Deloitte & Touche in their Energy Risk Accounting group. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Accounting.
In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and daughter Helena in such pursuits as cooking, travel, and outdoor recreation.

Stephen joined the GWM team as Director of Operations in 2006 when he returned to Oregon from an extended stay in Alaska where he worked for several years in Credit Union and Trust Company operations and member support. He brings to the team experience in financial services, compliance and technology, and assumed the responsibilities of Chief Compliance Officer in 2009.
An Eagle Scout, Stephen devotes much of his free time to continuing education and genealogical research, and occasionally serves to offset his sweetheart’s gracefulness on the dance floor.
Gven L. GilmoreGven has been working for Phil Green for 13 years. Currently she is the assistant office manager with a wide variety of duties. She has held secretarial positions with the State of Oregon and a vocational rehabilitation counselor.
Gven enjoys volunteering. Some of her favorite memories are from the many years she spent as a leader with the Camp Fire Boys and Girls, working in the classrooms at school with her children when they were young, and the many opportunities to serve in her church. Her hobbies of quilting, crocheting, Family History, and visiting her grandchildren in Arizona with her husband, Tom, keeps her busy in her spare time.
